Your Talent Was Never The Problem
EYE HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY
Your Talent Was Never The Problem
You are good at what you do. The people who could move you forward just do not know you exist yet. That is a smaller problem than it feels like, and it has an answer.
I have sat across from so many talented people who thought something was wrong with them.
The singer with real range who could not get a room to notice. The author with a finished manuscript and no idea where it goes from there. The speaker who has changed lives from a stage and still cannot get past the first email to book another one.
Every single time, I tell them the same thing. Your talent was never the problem. Nobody knowing about you is the problem. Those are two completely different fixes, and only one of them requires you to become a different person.
WHY I BUILT THIS
I did not build Image Management because I read about it somewhere. I built it because I lived it and because I watched it happen to person after person for years.
Somebody is rarely one thing. A veteran who became a love coach and wrote a book is not three separate stories fighting for attention, that combination is the story, and most people cannot see it about themselves because they are too close to it. I can see it because I am standing outside of it, and that is the whole value of having somebody in your corner who knows how these rooms work.
I say rooms on purpose. Press is a room. Podcasts are a room. Speaking is a room. Publishing is a room. Every room has its own door, its own people, and its own rules for how you get in. You do not need to be famous to walk through any of them. You need to be ready, and you need to know which door to knock on.
WHAT READY ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
Here is where I have to be honest with you, because I would rather tell you the truth now than watch you burn a good contact later.
Ready is not a feeling. It is a checklist, and I run it before I ever hand somebody a single name to reach out to. Do you have a real bio. A photo that looks like you were expecting the camera. Clear examples of what you actually do. If those pieces are missing, I am not going to pretend a target list fixes that, because it does not. It just gets your name in front of somebody once, unprepared, and that is worse than waiting two more weeks to get it right.
That is the part people do not expect from this work. Sometimes the first honest thing I tell you is what still needs building. I would rather say that than hand you a list that burns your reputation with somebody who could have opened a door for you.
Nobody discovered me. I built the map myself, and then I built it for everybody else too.
WHAT I ACTUALLY DO
I find the specific people who could move you, the ones who are actually looking for exactly what you do right now, not a generic list pulled off the internet. I tell you what they respond to, when to reach them, and I hand you the words to say.
What I do not do is send anything for you. I am not a publicist holding a retainer and making promises I cannot guarantee. I give you the map and the words, and you walk it in. That is the whole difference between paying somebody thousands a month for vague activity and knowing exactly who to talk to and what to say to them.
Nobody discovered me. Not the show, not the magazine, not any of it. I built the map myself, room by room, one contact at a time, and I did it while doing everything else I do. Then I built that same map for the people who come to me, because I know exactly how much time it saves somebody who is already doing everything they can to get where they are going.
IF THIS IS YOU
You already have what it takes. That part is not in question. What you need is somebody who can see all of you at once and tell you exactly which door to walk through first.
That is the work. Ready to be seen, or ready to find out what still needs building first. Either answer moves you forward.
