I don't come to your room to perform being healed. I tell them what actually happened and what I actually did about it, including the parts that don't make me look good.
People don't change because somebody impressive told them to. They change because somebody honest went first.

It Does Not Stop At Twenty Five
Date raped at forty eight. Sexual harassment as a grown professional woman.

Walking away from a Black man, and the pressure that says do not, from people who will not be the ones living in that house.
