Your Body Has Been Talking to You All Year. Have You Been Listening?

Hey Honeybuns,
Let me ask you something before you keep scrolling.
When is the last time you looked in the mirror — not the one that tells you what outfit works, but the one that shows you the truth — and says, are you actually taking care of this body the way it deserves to be taken care of?
Take your time. I'll wait.
Because I already know the answer for a lot of you. And I say that because I know it for myself too.
Y'all. The conversations I have had with my own body this year alone. The promises I made on January 1st. The vision I had for what I was going to do differently. The foods. The movement. The water. I knew exactly what I needed to do. I had the knowledge, I had the tools, and I had zero excuses. And some of those promises? I have not kept them the way I said I was going to.
So before this becomes a post where I'm pointing fingers at you, understand — I am standing in the same mirror. I am talking to myself just as much as I am talking to you. That's the only way this works.
What Your Body Is Actually Telling You
Real talk?
Your body is not the enemy. It is not the problem. It is not the thing standing between you and your life. It is your LIFE.
But somewhere between January and now, a lot of us started treating our bodies like an afterthought. Like something we'll get to once everything else calms down. Once work settles. Once the kids get older. Once we have more money, more time, more motivation.
PAUSE.
There is never going to be a perfect season to start. The only body you are going to get in this lifetime is the one you are living in right now. And the CHOICES Lifestyle starts here — not with your calendar, not with your bank account — with the body that carries you to every single thing you say you want.

The Fear Underneath the Fork
Here is what I need you to sit with, and I need you to be honest:
Is it really about not having enough time to eat right? Or is it about the fact that changing how you eat means changing how you cope?
Is it really about not being able to afford the gym? Or is it about being afraid to show up in a space where your body feels exposed?
Is it really about not knowing what to do? Because Honeybuns — you know. You have always known. The information has never been the problem.
The problem is that your relationship with your body is carrying something much heavier than calories. And until you name that thing — the grief, the shame, the trauma, the comfort food that became your best coping mechanism — you are going to keep starting over every Monday for the rest of your life.
What are you REALLY afraid of?
The CHOICES Lifestyle Starts in the Body

Every choice you make about how you fuel your body, how you move it, how you rest it — those are CHOICES. Constantly Having Opportunities to Increase Change & Empower Self. Every single day.
You don't have to overhaul everything today. But you do have to choose something today.
Drink the water. Take the walk. Put down the thing you've been using to numb the feeling you're not ready to face. Choose one thing. Choose it today. And then choose it again tomorrow.
Your body has been carrying you through everything. It is time to start carrying it.
Here's Your Mirror Check for Today
Write down one way your body has been trying to get your attention that you have been ignoring.
Now write down what you have been doing instead of listening to it.
Now write down ONE thing — just one — you can choose differently today.
That's it. That's the whole exercise. One honest answer. One different choice. That is the CHOICES Lifestyle in action.
