Our history tells our story. Nothing has changed. There will always be a struggle based on my skin color but that will not stop my purpose in life.
Can you share a significant moment or experience that has profoundly impacted your identity as a Black man?
Going up in a rough area you see a lot, so you always want to do better and create a change
Can you share a role model or figure who has inspired you as a Black man, and how have they influenced your personal growth and aspirations?
My mom is my role model. I watched my mom multi task taking not only the family responsibilities but her own. Going to college and getting certifications for her profession drove me to becoming and doing some of the things I saw my mother do.
How do you navigate the complexities of masculinity and vulnerability as a Black man in today's society?
Just being me.
How do you prioritize self-care and mental health in a world that often overlooks the well-being of Black men?
That is part of the balance in life. You have to keep your mind, body, and soul at peace.
What challenges do you face as a Black man in your career or professional life, and how do you overcome them?
Growing a business and having to prove yourself to others. It's nothing new for me. It's about building the right relationships
What are your thoughts on the current state of social justice movements and their impact on the lives of Black men in society?
It's a slow but uphill battle.
How do you define success and fulfillment as a Black man, and how has this definition evolved?
Staying true to themselves and not letting the powers that be dictate their lives.
How do you see the portrayal of Black men evolving in mainstream media and popular culture, and what changes would you like to see in the representation of Black masculinity?
Men being feminine and the change would be Black men being men again

I don't pay attention to what people don't know. Knowledge is self.
How do you envision the future for Black men in society, and what do you hope to see in terms of progress, equality, and empowerment for the community?
Black men empower their communities again and more togetherness.

Waking up is most important. Once that happens then everything else works itself out

Respect and Communication.
How do you prioritize self-love and self-care in your daily life, especially during times of being single or seeking a partner?
You have to love yourself first before anything.

Life lessons. You take the good and the bad and learn from it
How do you maintain boundaries and respect in your relationships, ensuring that your needs and values are honored and respected by your partner?
You have to know your partner. I'm very observant so I make sure I know her likes and dislikes. Hopefully, it's the same
What advice would you give to young Black men who are navigating their own identities and experiences in a world that may not always value their perspectives?
Stay true to you. Don't get brainwashed. Get your credit right and make sure you are in a good space with yourself before finding someone.
